ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Susan Carpenter founded and ran the pirate station, "KBLT", named after the sandwich, out of her closet in Silverlake throughout the mid-to-late 1990s. Seriously, everyone DJ'd in her closet. KBLT's DJs included Mike Watt, Bob Forrest, Keith Morris, and more. For a few years it was the center of all that was cool and hip in LA music industry. Performers included Mazy Star who played a benefit to help pay her legal fees…
