ABOUT THE PRESENTATION: Get to know the City of Los Angeles Recreation and Parks Park Ranger Mounted Unit, including two of their horses! Senior Park Ranger Sean Kleckner leads this thoughtful presentation about the history, mission, duties, community engagement, and many other aspects of the Mounted Unit. Horse Trainers, Sean Robinson and Sofia Cluff, will be on site to introduce Bert and Archie to all meeting attendees!
ABOUT THE HORSES: Bert is the "old man" of the mounted unit - he was born in 2001! He's the lovable troublemaker of the group. Archie is friendly, calm, and docile, and a real person-pony! Archie was born in 2013 and is the youngest horse in the unit.
