Members Only Tour: Wallis Annenberg Wild Life Crossing

LABC members, join us for a special tour of this historic project!

For decades, the 101 has cut the Santa Monica Mountains off from the wild lands to the north. Spanning the freeway at Liberty Canyon and designed to blend seamlessly into the surrounding ecosystem,  the Wallis Annenberg wildlife crossing gives wildlife a safe path between two worlds that were never meant to be separate, reconnecting an ecosystem and giving the animals that depend on it room to recover.

The tour is open to the first 35 LABC members to reserve their spaces.

We plan to spend approx. 45 minutes on site but docents will be available to answer as many questions as you like. Please wear comfortable shoes and consider bringing water and sun protection. Weather is expected to be sunny and pleasant.
