Members Only: Represent LABC in the Pasadena Doo Dah Parade

MEMBERS-ONLY: Join us on November 19 as LABC Members walk (or ride a friend of Hamlette) together in the famous Doo Dah Parade in Pasadena!

ABOUT THE DOO DAH PARADE: Known as the twisted sister of the conventional Rose Parade, the Occasional Pasadena Doo Dah Parade began as a grassroots event in 1978 and over the past decades has gained national attention for its eccentric and, often, irreverent satire. The parade which has spawned numerous off-beat replicants across the country was even highlighted in the Wall Street Journal in 2015. It was also named “America’s Best Parade” by Reader’s Digest, and was featured in the book 50 Places You Must Visit Before You Die.

Participants often include homemade conveyances, art cars, mutant vehicles, living room furniture, eccentric marching bands, rockin’ bands, performance artists, cornballs, show-stoppers, pundits, anachronists, believers and nonbelievers, fantasists, surrealists, Dadaists, space travelers, time travelers, absurdists, weirdos, not weird enoughs and soon...Ham an' Eggers!

DETAILS: There's a $10 registration fee for each participant. Members should log into their account to purchase tickets. 

If you will be walking with LABC, make sure to sign up here and not on the Doo Dah Parade website.  LABC is already registered and will directly apply your fee to parade registration cost. 

The Doo Dah Parade is donating fees to the Light Bringer Project

The parade begins at 11 am, but we'll assemble and line up together at 10 am at the staging area. 

The parade runs for about half a mile, starting at Holly St. on Raymond Ave., then goes south for two blocks, takes a right onto Colorado Boulevard and then ends at Pasadena Ave.
